How To Install Your Skylight Blind

Installing a Manual Skylight Blind

Fit cassette to top of window frame. Remove the adhesive tape from the cassette, position it at the top of the window frame and press firmly.

Secure cassette. Support the cassette until the screws have been secured, then fix it in place using screw (a).

Centralise handle. Pull the handle away from the window and fold it upwards against the front of the cassette. Gently slide the handle until the fabric is even on both sides. Repeat on both sides.

Slide siderails into cassette. Slide the fabric into the front channel of the siderail. The siderail should sit underneath the front edge of the cassette.

Secure siderails. Position each siderail against the window frame and secure using screw (a).
How to operate
Always use two hands to lower and raise the blind, keeping your hands centred on the handle. Tilt the handle towards the window to release the brake, then raise or lower. Release the handle to lock the blind in position.
Installing a Solar Motorised Blind

Centralise handle. Gently slide the handle until the fabric is even on both sides.

Fit cassette to top of window frame. Remove the protective backing from the adhesive tape, position the cassette at the top of the window frame and press firmly. Hold the cassette until step 3 is complete.

Secure cassette. Pull the handle away from the window and fold it upwards against the front of the cassette. Secure the cassette using 2 screws (a). Repeat on the other side.

Fit siderails. Rotate the handle away from the cassette and hold it parallel with the window. Slide the fabric into the front channel of the siderail and push the siderail upwards. The siderail should sit underneath the front edge of the cassette.

Secure siderails. Position each siderail against the window frame and secure using screw (a) — do not over-tighten. Repeat on the other side.
Operating & remote
Use CHANNEL + on the remote to choose your channel — the channel number flashes once when selected. All paired blinds on the same channel operate together.
Pairing: select your channel, remove the remote's back cover, hold the button on the bottom of the blind for 3 seconds until it jogs and beeps, then hold the C button on the back of the remote until the blind jogs and beeps again.
Press DOWN to lower (stops automatically at the bottom). Press UP to raise (stops automatically at the top).
After Installation — Use It Right
